Datasec’s presence also included a hands-on masterclass titled: “Beyond Logs: Achieving Full Visibility in Linux with Wazuh + auditd,” led by Luis Balduini and Pablo Rizzo.

This session, tailored for cybersecurity professionals, system administrators, and SOC analysts, covered:

– Integrating auditd with Wazuh to boost critical event detection in Linux.

– Decoding hexadecimal event data and enriching logs.

– Designing custom rules for proactive anomaly and threat detection.
